What does ILEA mean to you?

Education. Relationships. Growth.

Developing + nurturing relationships is - undoubtedly - a huge benefit of any member's active involvement in ILEA, but beyond that, to me, ILEA means fostering growth + professionalism in all event professionals by providing education + opportunities, both on the local and international level. I believe that this access to high-level, quality education pushes ILEA members, like me, to provide a higher-level of service to our customers and community, which in turn strengthens the special event industry as a whole.

What's one thing you'd like members + future members to know about you?

I take my leadership role in this organization very seriously and I am always open to hearing how we can make your experience as an ILEA member better. If you have ideas, then I want to hear them. If I can introduce you to someone, then ask me. If you want to get involved, then - by all means - let's make that happen!

What does ILEA mean to you?

To me, ILEA means PASSION. Our ILEA Chapter is so full of passion and I do not think I am the only member who thrives off of that! I felt it the moment I walked into my first Educational Meeting in 2016. ILEA brings together those passionate, like-minded event professionals to exchange ideas and information, while building relationships and growing businesses. As a member, I want to help educate our Chapter professionals on the positive impact that being an ILEA Member may have on them & their business. I want to help create excitement among our current members and I want to be able to do that though communication.

What's one thing you'd like members + future members to know about you?

This may come as a surprise ... but I was a part of the competitive cheerleading world starting at the young age of 5 and continued on through my collegiate career. My experience as an athlete and a coach in the sport has taught me many valuable lessons that I apply to my professional and personal life daily. Want to talk camaraderie and team building activities among team members? Or learn how to keep a giant smile on your face while yawning? Maybe you just want to learn about the world of events within the cheerleading industry? Or hey, what about wanting to know the technique behind a back tuck? I am happy to chat with you about it all...and then some!
